About us

The Blackford Centre serves the needs of people who want to become foot care practitioners.

Our tutors are full-time foot care practitioners, who bring their on-the-job experience to the course. You'll get advice directly from active experts - not college admin people or college lecturers who don't practise.

Accreditation

We're accredited by ABC Awards, an accreditation body authorised by OFQUAL.

To achieve accreditation, we undergo a rigorous and continuous assessment of all aspects of our work, including administration, learner support, educational materials, and publicity. And because we're regularly inspected, we have to we have to work hard to maintain quality to keep that accreditation.
